12 March 2017

This week I was in Sydney, one of my all time favorite cities in the world. I think that has something to do with being a city with a beach, just like Barcelona, Cape Town and Los Angeles. All cities with a relaxing vibe. I arrived on Monday morning after a super smooth flight with Cathay Pacific. Did you know they also offer Fly & Stay packages? So you book your flights and hotels all in one? Check it out here.

If you’re going to Sydney I would recommend you to not only go to Bondi Beach and the CBD, because you also will love Surry Hills, Redfern/Chippendale and Alexandria – especially if you love those fantastic design spots. I will share my Tried & Tested’s later with you – but for now: let’s see Sydney via my eyes through my iPhone camera:

Brickfields in Redfern

Kensington Street Social by British Michelin Star Chef Jason Atherton

Fantastic tote bag of The Old Clare Hotel, the lovely hotel I stayed at.

Autumn leaves and a lovely sign spotted on the streets of Surry Hills

The Grounds of Alexandria

Vintage shopping in Alexandria

Jones & Co in Bondi Beach

My trip is sponsored by Cathay Pacific.

Cathay Pacific flies on a daily base via Hong Kong to almost 200 destinations in Asia and Australia from 595 euros (from Amsterdam to Hong Kong) and from 1030 euros (from Amsterdam to Melbourne). Check out their latest tool called Cathay Fly & Stay so you can book your flight(s) and hotel(s) together.
