TRIED & TESTED
More than a vineyard
8 November 2021
Three weeks ago I went to Portugal to discover the latest addresses. I’ve started in Lisbon, went to the Alentejo region all the way to the Spanish border and then drove down South to discover the Algarve. The first stop in the Alentejo region was this secluded holiday home on a farm near Montemor-o-Novo where I woke up to this amazing sunrise. I drove to a hill-top town called Monsaraz near the border of Spain. Checked out a few places in the surroundings for you to eat, stay and shop. And then drove all the way South to the Algarve while stopping at a beach in Parque Natural do Vale do Guadiana and seeing another picturesque town called Mertola.
Let’s see what caught my eye during this sunny road trip! And find more recommendations on the Alentejo page.
Thank you Visit Alentejo for sponsoring my car rental
