YOURS VALENCIA

Yours Hotel is a small, independent hotel in the lively neighborhood of Ruzafa. There’s a plunge pool, the rooms are very spacious and the breakfast is a good start of the day.

Celebrating local design

The owners of Yours Hotel were already running a successful bed and breakfast in Valencia before they got the idea of opening a new hotel. They found the building before the pandemic and turned the former launderette into a quiet oasis in the heart of bustling Ruzafa. They worked with local designers and brands (such as Viccarbe, Arkoslight and Alfareria La Nava) as much as possible to give their guests an authentic stay in the city.

Feel like home

If you enter the hotel you’ll notice they don’t have a reception desk. They really wanted their guests to feel at home, so it feels like you’re entering a living room with some tables, a comfortable sofa and a big kitchen. This opens up to a patio with a plunge pool – perfect to cool down after a long, hot day in the city. Or to start your day with a delicious acai bowl and of course a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice.

Spacious rooms

There are a few different room types at Yours Hotel. I’ve stayed (and photographed) in their smallest room category, the superior room. Which is not that small at all with its 28m2, a balcony, seating area, comfortable bed and bathroom. Apart from the furniture and lamps by Spanish design brands, they have Dutch Marie Stella Maris amenities in the bathroom and the wooden build-in table and couches are made by one of the owners’ fathers.

Other things to do

Next to your stay you can also rent a Veloretti bike to discover the city and if you like they can guide you to some other experiences. Like yoga in the park or a food tour by an enthusiastic local who can take you to one of the typical Spanish markets and guide you to the best things to try.
