A walk through one of the oldest dutch towns
24 March 2021
Stilleven recently opened the doors in a former apothecary in Zutphen. The concept store has a focus on stillness and sustainability and sells fashion, furniture and home accessories.
Mera Martinot moved from Amsterdam to the country side in Gelderland and opened her first interior shop not long after. On the Lange Hofstraat she started selling items she loved with a good, honest story behind them. She quickly grew out of the store and in March 2021 she moved to a spacious building on the Houtstraat. In this former apothecary she can showcase more items of her favorite brands such as Skagerak and Kristina Dam Studio.
Apart from the bigger furniture such as tables and chairs from the brands mentioned above, she also sells home accessories and clothing. You’ll love the lightweight blouses by Pomandere and the scarves by Dutch brand FANT. She sells the popular art prints by Studio Paradissi. And the Color & Co blinds are highly recommended for every home.
The Stilleven Collection is their own collection of pillows, throws, curtains and table linen made of high quality linen made in Lithuania. And if that isn’t all Mera loves to give interior advise to a anyone who likes to bring more stillness in their homes.
And if a visit to the store isn’t enough they also rent out a Stilleven Tiny House on the country side. A back-to-nature cabin stay close to the nature reserve Lochemse Berg.
