New in Greenpoint is Di an Di, a Vietnamese eatery in a stunning environment.
You hardly notice the entrance, although it’s around the corner of Homecoming and Maman. When the green door opens at 5 pm, everyone rushes inside, so it’s full before you know it. Di an Di means ‘let’s go eat’ in Vietnamese, so after their opening a few weeks ago, everyone already follows their advice.
On the menu, you’ll find Vietnamese food, with a big emphasis on pho. If you don’t eat meat, you will also love Di an Di as they have several delicious vegetarian dishes to choose from.
The interior is done by Huy Bui, a designer known for his project Plant in City, where he explores the cross-section of plants, architecture, and technology.
