Most striking feature:

After I wroteabout this beautiful cafe in Nolita in november 2012, I finally had the chance to visit The Butcher’s Daughter by myself. Across the street from the Nolitan Hotel you’ll arrive in a green and sunny atmosphere which reminded me of my trip to Australia more than ten years ago but also of my more recent trip to Cape Town (check out Superette for example). We went there to have breakfast and ordered eggs on toast (yummy) and a healthy green juice. A very good start of the day! Why is it called the Butcher’s Daughter? Because it is a vega cafe and a juice bar and that has nothing to do with meat right? Well, they say it like this: ‘The Butcher’s Daughter is a vegetable slaughter house: we treat vegetables like a butcher would treat their meat’. So go there if you love to treat yourself to some fresh fruit or vegetables!

And if you’re in a hurry you can always stop by at the new The Butcher’s Market where they make juices-to-go.
