HOTEL

3 reasons to go there:

1.If you like staying in one of three design apartments facing the well-known KMSKA (the Museum for Fine Arts Antwerp). Together with Belgian architecture studio Contekst, Antwerp-based stillness and cork designer Corkinho, and gallery owner Alain Hens, they’ve created three stays that cater to all senses: not only through the panoramic windows with a view, but also via a custom-made perfume, tactile materials (such as cork in the bathrooms), and a blend of organic tea created exclusively for Rumi.

2.If you like having a wellbeing experience in ‘t Zuid, an area filled with galleries, restaurants, and cafes. The bathrooms feel like a spa in themselves, featuring a dark color palette, beautiful tiles, a bathtub, and secret drawers for a hairdryer. There’s an eye pillow for a perfect night’s sleep and a meditation cushion in the living room to start your day off right.

3.If you like cooking. The kitchens are artworks in themselves, whether it’s the floating wooden kitchen in the upper apartment or the new-style kitchen island in apartment number two. As you can see, you could easily spend much longer here than just a weekend. On the ground floor, they’ve launched ‘Rumi Ground Floor’, a shared space for creative (hospitality) concepts. Boe brings a Hong Kong-style street restaurant to the space from Friday to Sunday, while wine courses by Wals take place on Monday and Tuesday evening, alongside listening sessions and intimate gatherings at other times during the week.
