1.If you like staying in a cabin surrounded by nature. The Pine Cabin by Buiten bij Vroeg is located close to the best nature parks Drenthe has to offer: Fochteloërveen and Drents-Friese Wold. Veenhuizen is also known as Prison Village, as poor families, orphans, beggars and vagrants stayed here under 24-hour guard from 1823. Think of it as a social experiment to transform poor Dutch people into productive locals. Since 2021 the town is now part of UNESCO World Heritage.

2.If you like going on a couple’s retreat. The house has a living room with design furniture, a bedroom and a bathroom. From the living room and bedroom you look out onto nature and your private terrace with Hay chairs, an open fire pit and a small table for your breakfast. Perfect for two people.
