The city in 24 hours
2 August 2021
In a quiet street on walking distance of the center of Gent you’ll find B&B Great, a bed and breakfast where architecture and art come together.
When you enter B&B Great you’ll notice the spacious lobby and breakfast room on the ground floor. Owner and interior architect Greetje Tuts wanted to create a space where her guests would feel like a local. After a day of exploring the city you can relax on the sofa or play some boardgames on one of the tables. There are 4 rooms and 3 apartments with a separate bedroom, kitchen and dining table. Definitely a good option if you wish to stay longer than just a weekend.
The most special feature of B&B Great is their rooftop on the 3rd floor. There’s a greenhouse on top of the roof and you’ll have a panoramic view over the skyline of the city. The perfect place to drink your morning tea in silence when all you hear are the church bells in the background.
