Delft once was one of the biggest cities in The Netherlands (around 1560) and is known for Delft Blue, Johannes Vermeer who painted the Girl with the Pearl Earring and The Milkmaid here and the amount of students who arrive to TU Delft with the hopes of becoming the next Rem Koolhaas (it’s one of the best architectural schools in the world).

Let’s see what caught my eye during a day in Delft, combining important landmarks with the best and latest spots:

Trompetstraat with a beautiful view of de Nieuwe Kerk

The shop Steen Papier Schaar sits in this beautiful red building

Get a coffee at LOT. Coffee Boutique

A selfie wall in between all those historical buildings
