TRIED & TESTED
Coffee roastery under former railway track

The new Pantoufle has opened its doors this weekend on the Vijverhofstraat and it’s a dream shop for everyone who loves slow design. Let’s take a look inside!
Esther Blankers opened Pantoufle in the center of Rotterdam two years ago. A lovely shop in the Pannekoekstraat where she sold products to enjoy everyday life even more. Like copper hooks or a beautiful vase. And from the Ligne Particulier pillow cases to speckled plates. It was her first shop so she started small but that meant she couldn’t present bigger items such as chairs, beds and sofas. And those items also bring pleasure to our everyday life right?
So she started looking for another space and she found it at De Hofbogen (close to Man met Bril Koffie) where she opened her shop on Saturday. Everyone I saw entering had a jaw-dropping moment when they set foot in the space (just like me): wow, this is so beautiful and so big! It’s basically the dream loft you want to live in with a beauitful soft color palette which makes the space super serene. On my wish list? A Ligne Particulier plaid, the Cesta by Santa & Cole and the Ercol chair.
