BAR LUCE MILAN

What if film director Wes Anderson, known for The Grand Budapest Hotel and The Royal Tenenbaums, was asked to design a cafe? He was. And the result is Bar Luce in Milan. And yes, it does look like you’re walking in a film set with bright and vivid colors, a beautiful bar where you can order a cup of coffee (1,50 euro) or the most delicious cakes, two pinpall machines and Formica tables. If you always wanted to step in the world of Anderson, and maybe be just as inspired to write a film script or a book, don’t forget to visit Bar Luce!

Bar Luce is located on the premises of Fondazione Prada, a place dedicated to art and culture. Rem Koolhaas, of OMA, was the star architect working together with Miuccia Prada on this special project. Definitely worth checking out!
