TRIED & TESTED
Laid-back cafe with lots of plants

Last week I was in Milan to spot some of the most fabulous places in the design- and fashion capital of Italy. Every city is different and every city has its own charm. The first thing you’ll notice when you’re in Milan is their language. In my opinion the most beautiful language in the world. I loved the train ride into the city because I listened to an old lady speaking passionately to a friend. Not that I understand their conversation, but the rhythm of the language is magical. Then the people from Milan. There are complete fashion blogs dedicated to the way they dress here in Milan and they don’t do it just for the photo. I spotted tons of fashionable people, not only youngsters. Especially older people have an impeccable taste. Then there’s the food: who doesn’t love the Italian kitchen? You’ll be sure of eating the most delicious contemporary Italian food there is. If you love to take some Italian food with you back home, check out the food market in the basement of Excelsior Milano, you’ll love it. This week I’m going to show you some of my favorite addresses and today we will start with an overall impression!
