Across the street of world famous concept store Merci, Maison Kitsuné opened their doors this Summer. It’s not only a store, but in the basement you’ll also find a Kitsuné Café. The third one in Paris after cafes in Les Jardins de Palais Royal and in Pigalle (close to Grand Hotel Pigalle). Maison Kitsuné is a French fashion brand created by Gildas Loaëc (former artistic director of Daft Punk) and architect Masaya Kuroki. Their collection is of course stylish, but is also known for the quality and the timeless pieces. It was such a success that they’ve opened stores outside Paris too. In Tokyo, New York (next to the NoMad Hotel) and Hong Kong for example – and their collection is sold in the most amazing stores worldwide such as Dover Street Market. Inside their latest store you’ll first notice the marble created by Max Lamb (also seen at Toki in Amsterdam). Not only in their collection and on iPhone covers, but also in the interior. There are plants, there is a beautiful geometric motif in the coffee store and of course there’s a collection you wish you could have all of it. Definitely a recommendation if you’re in Paris to do some shopping – or to have a coffee.
