Hello and goodmorning! How was your weekend? I hope you visited one or more great addresses and maybe Petite Passport could help you finding them!
My weekend started with picking up my boyfriend from the airport and driving straight to restaurant Citroen in Amsterdam. The restaurant, with all those beautiful pink Revolt chairs, is so beautiful: even at night. We had dinner here and started with oysters, then I’ve ordered the duck breast and my boyfriend opted for the risotto which were both very good. As a dessert we’ve ordered the chocolate cake and, new on the menu and a very good, lemon pie.
After that we spend the night at The Hoxton; the hotel I’ve told you about earlier this month. We had a cozy room overlooking the courtyard and what I especially liked was the great bed and those cotton sheets. If you’re in for a good rest, this is the hotel for you! On Saturday morning we had breakfast in the hotel and because of the central location we had time to discover the surroundings: bought some magazines and newspapers at Athenaeum and did some interior shopping at Hay.
Because I’m in a new-home-state-of-mind (this week we’re moving from Barcelona to Rotterdam) this week I’m gonna share my favorite home decor stores in the world with you on Petite Passport (via social media channels like Instagram, Facebook and Twitter). And if you want more recommendations in Amsterdam, make sure to download The Amsterdam Guide.
Have a lovely week! x Pauline
