TRIED & TESTED
Hotel designed by Francois Champseur

When you arrive by feet at Hotel Henriette, situated in a quiet neighborhood on the Rive Gauche, you will immediately notice the sleek, black façade which is beautiful. Inside you’ll notice the bohemian atmosphere full of vintage elements combined with new furniture. Everything is done by the owner herself: from setting up the reservation system to decorate the complete building. Each room is different, but everywhere you’ll find that mix of old and new. In my room for example you’ll see old cabinets found on flea markets in France, but also a brand new headboard from the well-known Parisian shop Caravane. And I love the lounge bed made up with linnen pillows from Merci. When I open the windows there’s a nice breeze coming through the room and you hear the birds singing. A lovely place to unwind after a day in the city. On the ground floor you’ll find the lobby and the breakfast room with a beautiful marble countertop and homemade wooden benches and tables. The breakfast is perfect with fruit, pastries, chocolade croissants and fresh orange juice. The large industrial doors open to the cute patio which is especially magical during night time. Like to go to the city? The metro, which stops almost in front of the hotel, brings you to Chatelet in twenty minutes.
