Most striking feature:

The service and food are extremely good. We let ourselves be surprised by the chef – only told the manager we loved the tuna of Grupo Tragaluz (in almost every restaurant of this design group of restaurants in Spain they have it on their menu and it’s really, really delicious). So what we got was a table full of dishes to share. High end tapas so to say. The dessert was my favorite: warm chocolate cake. You can wake me in the night for that one. Perfect!

Enough about the food. The second restaurant in Madrid by Grupo Tragaluz is an instant hit. You can only get a table when you reserve months in advance. The interior, done by Sandra Tarruella, is relaxed but still chic. You can come in for a cocktail at night or collect your friends and family for an hour long dining session when you have something to celebrate. Luzi Bombon is located in an old bank building in the chic Salamanca district. On the Paseo de la Castellana.

Definitely worth reserving a table!

My Madrid trip was sponsored by Transavia and TourSpain.es (Spaans Verkeersbureau).

Transavia flies several times a week to the capital of Spain, check their website for the best tickets.
